Jancy Campbell, Associate Broker
When you are buying or selling real estate, it really is all about you. It's about what you want, and when you want it to happen. It's about your family . . your business . . . your investments. It's all about living -- spending your time -- buying/investing or selling real estate in one of the most exciting locations in the world. I love living here, and I love my work. Remember when people took pride in the service they offered and made sure attention was given to detail? That is how I do business -- always have and always will.
Background, Education and Training
I was born and grew up in Omaha, Nebraska. After graduating from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Journalism I moved to Washington, DC. My very first position was working on a newsletter for a lobbiest organization, the National Milk Producers Federation. I then worked for a United States Congressman from Michigan. A fascinating time. Two of my three daughters were born in Washington, DC and Virginia. My third daughter was born after moving back to Omaha.
After several years of being a full time mother, I completed masters work in in Mass Communications at the University of Nebraska. I became editor of a weekly lifestyle magazine, and following that position I spent many years with one of the top ten advertising, marketing & public relations agencies in the world, Bozell & Jacobs (now Bozell). I worked in both the creative and public relations areas. I left Bozell to open my own public relations firm, Campbell Communications, Inc. After three years I moved to Boulder, Colorado (a part of the country I always loved) and opened Campbell Communications, Inc. here in Boulder. I also taught a graduate course in public relations at the University of Colorado as an adjunct professor.
Being absolutely thrilled with Colorado and its stunning landscapes, I decided to go into real estate. And then, realizing that while almost all my life I have been involved in the marketing of institutions, causes, companies, individuals, firms, products, and non-profits, how fun it was and is now to be marketing real estate.
Every property has its own target market (buyer). It is important to accurately identify these buyers, and then know how to reach them -- It is easy to list a property. Effectively marketing and selling real estate is a completly different process.
